Wyldewood Faerie Soaps Faeries are tiny mischiveous imaginary being that have magical powers. They are very illusive, but all you need is to look close and you will catch a glimpse of them in the woods or around your gardens, just a twinkle out of the corner of your eye. My faerie soaps are inspired by the herbs and scents that faeries love.The herbs that are used in my soaps are carefully harvested right from my very own herb garden. Each bar of soap contains herb oil infusions, essential oils, dried herbs and added aroma to aid in attracting not only the faeries, but the alluring scents linger on your skin leaving it soft and smoothe. Soft moss a downy pillow makes, and green leaves spread a tent, Where Faerie fold may rest and sleep until their night is spent. Dillingham, "A Faery Song" Oakmoss and Mushroom The moss that grows on the northside of an oak tree is magickal indeed. Mother Nature has hidden many treasures in this moss and it contains medicinal and healing properties, as well as being soothing to the skin. Mushrooms/Toadstools provide shelter for the fae as well as being a good source of vitamin D. Amongst the mushrooms, oaks and cool ferns is a natural place for the faeries to gather. This unique and one-of-a-kind soap contains very small bits of oak bark, oakmoss and mushrooms. The bark, moss and mushrooms have been concocted into an infusion for optimal benefits and and has a earthy scent with a hint of lavender and honey. $6.25/4-5 ounce soapcake Almonds and Oats This healthy combination is an old favorite and a staple for anyone with dry skin. Oatmeal is one gift from Mother Nature that just can't be duplicated. Not only is it fabulous for inside your body, but it's fabulous for your outside too. The oatmeal infuses into the water and gently coats your skin for a soft and soothing feeling. Almonds are another one of Mother Nature's treasures that are beneficial inside and out. If you have dry skin, you've got to keep this soap handy. Contains crushed whole oats, powdered almonds, almond oil and almond fragrance. The fairies highly recommend it! $6.25/4-5 ounce soapcake Lavender Ahhh Lavender, sweet lavender. The many properties of Lavender could fill the entire page. Much to my delight, one of the favorite herbs of the fae. They use this herb to heal their sick, the oil to heal injuries and the aroma to sleep tucked safe under the moonlight. We also get the same benefits from Lavender. Bathe with this soap before bed at night and drift into soothing slumber. It's widely used for aromatherapy to calm nerves and reduce stress and to aid in sleep. Lavender is also wonderful for rashes and minor burns. This soap contains crushed lavender buds, lavender essential oil and lavender fragrance. $6.25/4-5 ounce soapcake Lavender, Wylde Thyme and Vervain Thyme and Lavender are a wonderful brew to help one see the Fae. The tops of the Wild Thyme must be gathered near the side of a Faerie hill in the early morning sun while the faeries rest in the lavender. We have it on good authority that if you leave tiny cakes or cookies in a bed of thyme on Midsummer Night, the faeries will come in the night and devour them. Thyme in itself, has an amazing wray of uses from culinary to topical. The essential oil of thyme is known to relieve achey sore muscles, while the properties of vervain and lavender can aid with relaxation. The combination of the these herbs are amazing. Lavender, Wylde Thyme and Vervain Soap contains both the essential oils and harvested herbs, has the soothing scent of lavender and thyme. $6.50/4-5 ounce soapcake Peppermint and Blossoms The exhilerating scent of orange blossoms and orange peppermint allures the fae to the garden to dance and sing and celebrate out of sheer enjoyment and happiness. Peppermint essential oil, when used as aromatherpy, aids in healing headaches, fatique, sinus/colds and motion sickness. I use peppermint myself regularily by inhaling it and rubbing it on my neck and shoulders, it's wonderful. Combined with the sweet warming scent of orange blossoms just makes you want to smile. Peppermint and Blossoms soap contain the essential oils of oranges and peppermint, orange peppermint bits and scented with orange blossoms.
